On 16th December an online visit of the Romania-Ukraine programme representatives was held with the aim to monitor the project “Cross-Border Cooperation Smart Energy”. Two monitoring and implementing officers from the programme’s office in Suceava, Romania together with all project partners took part in the event.

The meeting was organized in order to verify effectiveness of project implementation, compliance of project activities with the grant contract and analysis of risk management. Project team members also had a chance to ask needful questions to the program representatives regarding auditing and reporting.

During the online event, the monitoring officers surveyed the partners on all project aspects - activities, indicators, results, etc. and jointly filled in two reports. As a result of this meeting, the project “Cross-Border Cooperation Smart Energy” received the highest score (A) for the current implementation, as well as members of the Romanian-Ukrainian team received an action plan with recommendations that will help further optimize the organizational work on the project.
